Academic freedom shall be guaranteed to the Teachers within the
District's planned instructional program and no special limitation
shall be placed upon study and investigation of facts and ideas
concerning man, human society, the physical and biological world,
and other branches of learning, subject to the following standards
of professional responsibility.

- 1. The Teacher
shall encourage the student to study varying points of view and
respect his/her right to form a personal judgment.

- 2.
Academic freedom exercised by a Teacher requires that he/she
be cognizant of the maturity of his/her students and that this
be recognized in instructional presentations.
